At the Michigan Academy of Dance and Music, we pride ourselves on giving our students the best education possible. Private Lessons are available

Michigan Academy offers music lessons for students of all ages in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments. Our private lessons are all individualized and tailored to each student’s needs. If you want to learn to play a specific song, style of music, solo, or even music theory, those choices are available. We can teach you standard notation, tablature, or how to play by ear. If you want to learn a song from a particular artist, bring your sheet music or cd and we’ll show you how it’s done!

Academy Band

New Music Rock Band Class! Join the Fun!

The Academy Band program offers students ages 8 to 18 the opportunity to get together and perform a variety of songs in different genres and learn how to play in a band of their own.

Whether it’s Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Percussion, Piano or Saxophone; as long as it’s music related, it’s welcome!
