Academy Preschool Program

Ages 2-4

The Academy Preschool Program is for our youngest students. Our Preschool classes are designed to enhance the development of gross motor skills, balance, coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while nurturing children’s natural creativity. Each class includes developmentally appropriate instruction through the use of music and dance.

FALL TUITION
$48 per month (per class) 10 equal monthly installments 8/1/24-5/1/25

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
With the exception of Mini & Me, our preschool dancers have the opportunity to perform at our December Holiday Showcase and our Spring Recital in June.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Mini & Me: Parent & tot creative movement for children age 2 years. Music, movement, balance and  basic dance steps are introduced in a friendly and positive manner.  This type of class includes an adult caregiver, mom, dad or a loved one participating in the class along with the dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track.

Mini Ballet:  Ballet class designed to enhance gross motor development, listening skills, musicality and nurture the creative spirit. It introduces the basic ballet steps. 

Mini Tap:  Tap class is a compliment to the Mini Ballet class and is normally taken together with it. This class also is designed to enhance gross motor development, listening skills, musicality, and nurture the creative spirit.  In addition, Mini Tappers is a high-energy class with a focus on learning rhythms.

Mini Jazz/Hip Hip:  Jazz - Hip Hop class is often taken in conjunction with Mini Tap or Mini Ballet.  It is designed to enhance gross motor development, listening skills, musicality and nurture the creative spirit.  Mini Hoppers combines the fun moves of Hip Hop and musical theater Jazz.
